The China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan is jointly sponsored by the Torch Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the Guangdong Taiwan Affairs Office. With the supports from different parties, the scale and influences of the event continue to grow.
Nearly 3,100 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan projects have participated in the competition, where 1,500 companies have been organised to inspect more than 40 industrial parks, incubators and enterprises in Guangdong. It integrated more than 90 professional service organizations and 200 financial institutions and investment institutions bringing around 3 billion yuan investment. This competition helped more than 270 Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan enterprises entering Guangdong, among which around 30 enterprises have obtained social financing and technology-related qualifications.
This competition encourages ideas exchange and cooperation between young entrepreneurs across GBA and fosters the implementation of entrepreneurial projects. Besides, it serves to optimise technology resources to build a entrepreneurial ecosystem.
